Hand foilers are easy to use and accurately centre the foil on the edge of the glass, making foiling seem almost effortless. About the size of a pen, the hand foiler applies foil as fast as you draw it around the glass and separates the paper back at the same time. Hand foilers come in different sizes to accommodate different widths of foil.

The crimper will then fold the foil over the sides of the glass for you, before you burnish the foil to a really smooth finish.
