Our range of lamp caps, also called vase caps, are made from spun, cast or pressed brass. They come in a variety of styles and sizes, with or without heat vents. Most pattern books will tell you the size of lamp cap required to fit your shade.
You can tin some lamp caps and apply a patina to match it to the rest of your shade. Get the best result by applying solder with the cap in a vertical position and use as little as possible so that you end up with a nice, smooth finish.
